Competitors will have access to datasets and application libraries where they will be able to have the creative freedom to develop an application with a relative business-use case.

The teams of 2-4 could consist of Fullstack Developers, Data Scientist or Analyst, and a Business Analyst. Each team will have one week to develop an application that is beneficial to the smart city space.

Finally, judges will evaluate and pick the top products where they will have the chance to present at the ending ceremony in front of business leaders and professionals. Then, judges will once again come together and pick the top 3 teams based on virutal presentations and pitches, where they will be announced with prizes.  

Judging Criteria

  1. Value - how well does the proposed solution address the problem? Is the idea presented clearly and does it best solve the problem?
  2. Viability - Is the proposed solution viable or technically sound?
  3. Scalability - Can the solution scale across and entire region?
  4. Creativity - How novel or unique is the solution?
